“My aim is to enhance student engagement in our sporting programs through ensuring skill development from a young age.”  NIK SACOUTIS, HEAD OF SPORT

Pulteney’s bridge to the Adelaide Park Lands gives students unrivalled access to sporting facilities, including five ovals, 15 tennis courts, a full-sized synthetic hockey pitch, basketball and netball courts, all set amongst 18 hectares of uninterrupted green sporting and recreational space.

A gymnasium on campus, and boat sheds on the Torrens and at West Lakes extend the range of facilities available to every student.

Students have Physical Education lessons from ELC and all play competitive summer and winter sport from Years 3 to 12. The range of sports and activities cater for all skills and interests, and include Athletics, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Cross Country, Football, Hockey, Soccer, Netball, Rowing, Swimming, Softball, Tennis, Rungie Cup (House Sporting Competitions), Venture Club, Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards Scheme, Chess and Debating.

With the city to the immediate north and Park Lands to the south, Pulteney is uniquely placed to enrich the lives of students through developing their sporting abilities, recreational interests and sense of physical wellbeing.
